This guidance website explains how to implement API Recommended Practice (RP) 1162, Public Awareness Programs for Pipeline Operators, third edition. Use of this website is voluntary and does not certify an operator’s adherence or conformance to API RP 1162 or any other standard, rule, or regulation.
